The daughter of Annie Lennox is the hottest face on the international modeling scene. According to the Sunday Mail, Tali Lennox, 17, has just signed up to be the new ace of the iconic British label Burberry, following in the footsteps of Irish model Kiera Gormley, supermodel Kate Moss and 'Harry Potter' star Emma Watson, to name but a few.
And the teenager says she's already a huge fan - because traditional Scottish plaid is one of her favourite looks to wear. Tali has been tipped as one of the faces of the coming year after taking the fashion world by storm. Her rock star mother championed the tartan look in her Eurythmics days and Tali is not afraid to follow suit.
She said: "I love a bit of tartan, especially tartan jackets. I got a great one for only $10 last time I was in New York. I also like the cut of kilts. I wore a great kilt-style skirt in a Miu Miu show. I love how Scottish style has influenced both punk and edgy styles as well as very elegant and traditional British styles.
"You can definitely still see that impact on runways today, from Vivienne Westwood to the latest Christopher Kane collection. That's the kind of style I like - traditional elegance but with a subtle side of edge and eccentricity." Tali, who is one of two daughters from Annie's failed marriage to Israeli film and music producer Uri Fruchtmann, was snapped up by Next Model Management when she was still at school. And she hasn't looked back.
In an interview with The Mail she said her most memorable experience from her debut year was "Speeding through Milan on a motorcycle in heels and a minidress, trying to get from the Missoni show to the Versus show, being over four hours late.
"I rushed in and had four people doing my hair, two people doing my makeup, and another two on nails and toes all at the same time."
"I heard an Italian woman repeatedly calling "Tali, Tali! Where is Tali?" I finally make it to the backstage line where all the other girls are already lined up and see that the woman calling for me is Donatella Versace!The show set was like a playground, and I felt like the naughty girl at fashion school. "I talk through every aspect of my job with my mum, and she's given me a lot of self-belief and wisdom."
In her brief career as a model, she has worked with Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Missoni and Miu Miu and modelled for high street store Topshop. No doubt, her star will continue to rise...
